Abby is currently completing her Masters of Counselling at Monash University. Previously a corporate lawyer in London for over 15 years, where she specialised in dispute resolution, she later spent five years as a teaching assistant in an international school in Hong Kong supporting students aged 4 to 11, including those with additional support needs.

Having been born in the UK, raised in the US, and a HK resident for almost a decade, gives Abby some understanding of the nuanced experiences of multicultural living. She is guided by a profound interest in human development and a commitment to helping individuals of all ages explore and navigate life’s complexities. Her approach to counselling is grounded in empathy, authenticity and collaboration, drawing from a variety of counselling modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes to their lives.

  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy (Joint Honours) – Leeds University, UK
