Jacqueline is a counselling trainee at AMindset with a deep commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and young adults in their personal and relational growth. With a professional background in communications and leadership, Jacqueline brings a unique blend of insight, empathy, and relational attunement into her counselling work.

Before training as a counsellor, Jacqueline built a distinguished career in the marketplace, where she was recognised by Campaign Asia as one of the 40 Women to Watch in APAC. Her work centred on uncovering human insights, building trust-based relationships, and helping individuals and teams navigate complexity, change, and growth. These experiences continue to shape her therapeutic approach, particularly her ability to listen deeply, draw meaning from lived experiences, and establish strong therapeutic rapport.

Alongside her corporate experience, Jacqueline has spent over five years working closely with young working adults, young women, couples, and families through mentoring, training, and pastoral care in both local and international church contexts. She has facilitated small groups, workshops, and one-on-one sessions, supporting clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, identity formation, and emotional wellbeing.

Jacqueline is currently completing a Master of Counselling at Monash University and is trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method. She is particularly passionate about creating a safe, open, and nurturing space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

Born in Hong Kong, educated in the United States, and having served in multicultural communities, Jacqueline works with sensitivity to cultural context, values, and individual life stories. She believes that meaningful change begins with feeling deeply seen and supported, and she walks alongside her clients with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
