Noel Lai is a counsellor-in-training completing her Master of Counselling at Monash University and a student member of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA). She is passionate about creating a safe, empathetic space for individuals to be heard, with a special interest in supporting children, adolescents, and their families.

As a mother of two, Noel has a deep personal understanding of the developmental challenges and emotional landscapes that children and adolescents navigate. This firsthand experience has fostered a profound passion for supporting the well-being of young people and their families. Her professional background in international banking, which included living and working for a multi-national bank in Switzerland, has equipped her with a unique ability to connect with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Noel strives to create a warm and accepting environment where clients feel respected and supported on their journey. She focuses on collaborating with clients to explore their strengths, navigate life’s complexities, and achieve meaningful personal growth.

Beyond her clinical work, Noel is a strong advocate for social equity. She believes mental health support should be accessible to all and aims to actively volunteer her time with non-profit initiatives that focus on supporting underprivileged communities. This aspiration is rooted in her core belief in community care and the power of empathy to create meaningful change.
