Suzy is a compassionate and skilled counsellor who has worked in the field of mental health for twenty years, and is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. She worked for a decade with an international NGO supporting asylum seekers and refugees in Hong Kong, providing counselling for clients, and training, supervision and counselling for direct support staff.

Suzy is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centred counselling, solution-focused therapy, and traumatic stress studies. She also integrates Somatic Experiencing (SE) at an intermediate level to complement her talk therapy methods. Suzy tailors her interventions to meet each client’s unique needs, helping them achieve their personal goals.

Suzy works with adults facing a range of challenges, including:

• Anxiety and stress
• Grief and loss
• Depression
• Interpersonal and relationship difficulties
• Life transitions (e.g., relocations, career changes, becoming a parent)

In her therapy room, Suzy strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. She works collaboratively with each individual, guiding them at a pace that feels right for them. Through her work, Suzy helps clients develop self-awareness, insight, and resilience, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and agency.

• Masters in Counselling (in progress) – Monash University, Australia
• Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Human Services – La Trobe University, Australia
• BA(Hons) Psychology – Melbourne University, Australia
• Certified Grief Educator – David Kessler Training
• Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Training (Intermediate level) – Somatic Experiencing International
